Mobii competed in the HYPE Global Virtual Accelerator 2 program. With over 1400 technology companies from across the globe having applied to join this program, a short-listed group of 25-30 companies were given the opportunity to take part in the HYPE GVA 2.0, including Mobii.
Each technology company got to spend valuable time with the sports industry’s leading brands, who disclosed their specific challenges around technology innovation. This culminated in a pitch day session where each technology company presented their solutions with a view to secure a working co-operation and pilot with the brands.
Although most tech companies usually join a single vertical, Mobii was entered into four, being Media & Broadcasting, Clubs & Federations, Performance and Winter Sport.
Mobii entered with its newly released and patent pending Mobii Connect solution, a platform that enables organizations to drive innovative solutions for both institutions and fans, with synchronization and low latency in video and data streams at the heart of its operation.
Following each verticals’ pitch day, the partner brands had the opportunity to hand-pick technology companies during a virtual selection show.
Mobii was successful in being selected by several leading brands. Click on each link below to view each partner selection announcement and their reason for selecting Mobii to help drive innovation:
